4 wheeled waste bins

Is a 660l waste bin 2 wheel or 4 wheel?

A 660L unit will be 4 wheeled. These bins are recommended for businesses producing large amounts of food or general waste that require weekly to fortnightly collections.

If you have the space to accommodate the unit, we also recommend using them to store recycling materials. This way you can store the content for longer which will require less collections and save you costs in the long run.

How much rubbish can I put inside a 660L bin?

These units can hold from 10 – 12 bags of refuse comfortably. This would weigh roughly 42kg on average. If you are regularly using more than that it might be worth considering a 1100L as rubbish that has been compacted may cause problems during the collection process.

How much rubbish can I put into a 1100L bin?

The largest 4 wheel bins can store 14 – 18 bags of rubbish. When ordering your bin, will confirm the maximum weights & volume limits for your unit. If you exceed your weight limit a collector may add a charge or even refuse to empty the bin.

This is due to regulations set by the EPA stating that all waste collectors must ensure that maximum weight loads are acknowledged and waste transfer notes are completed.

Are our four wheeled bins heavy duty?

Our 4 wheeled wheelie bins are made from materials that are able to withstand frequent use and outdoor conditions, as they are often placed in public areas or at commercial sites.

The most common materials for our waste bins include plastic, metal (such as steel or aluminum), and durable alloys. These materials are chosen for their longevity, resistance to damage from weather and other environmental factors, and their ability to withstand the weight of large amounts of waste.

Additionally, some commercial waste bins may be made from a combination of materials, such as a metal frame with a plastic liner, to provide added strength and protection.

The choice of material will depend on the specific requirements of the location where the 4-wheeled wheelie bin will be placed, as well as the type and volume of waste that will be stored in it.
