Waste Managed is part of a group of companies who share a likeminded vision to be human, always put customers first, make time to listen and be a proactive problem solver. Together, we can support each other to achieve more.

We will always remain our customers’ point of contact, liaising with suppliers on their behalf, helping to maintain smooth operations and seamless waste management.

We have strict SLAs in place with suppliers we work with and since we have a large number of customers, we have greater buying power and influence over suppliers. Where possible our suppliers always aim for 100% landfill avoidance and sustainability is key to everything we do as a responsible authority in the waste space.

We are proud thought leaders in the circular economy, with features in major publications such as Ok Magazine, MSN and The Mirror.

Sustainability isn’t a buzzword for us; it’s embedded in everything we do. Our ISO 14001:2015 UKAS accreditation reflects out commitment to continual improvement, environmental compliance, and real, measurable progress. In addition, through our partnership with Just One Tree, we actively contribute to global reforestation efforts. To date, we’ve planted over 7,500 trees, helping to absorb an estimated 2,310 tonnes of CO₂ as they grow, restoring biodiversity and protecting vulnerable ecosystems.

Over the last 15 years we have been in operation we have grown considerably, with nearly 200 staff and over 40,000 customers. We are one of the largest waste brokers in the UK.

We work with a diverse mix of businesses, ranging from hairdressers and beauty salons to care facilities, schools, hospitality venues, and dental practices, so no matter the business type, we are here to help.

We are constantly looking for ways to improve the customer experience and offer added value – waste is something everyone has, so we’re passionate about driving meaningful environmental change.

Our team stays abreast of the latest waste legislation to advise customers and ensure they stay compliant. Our aim is to remove the hassle for our customers, ensuring they get a reliable service at a competitive price.

Our growing IT team supports our business, allowing us to deliver a customer-focused app and portal, supporting customers to self-serve and manage their account. In addition, our team of 60+ customer service agents allow customers to connect with us via whatever means suits them best, whether that’s via phone, email, live chat or the app/portal.

We cover all major waste types and even niche waste types such as sharps, confidential waste, medication disposal, animal by-products (ABPs) and more. We aim to keep everything super simple by putting all waste streams into one invoice, so customers don’t have to deal with multiple invoices for different waste types.
