Our Time At The 2022 Energy Live Consultancy Conference

At the end of last month (30th November), our own Martin Needham and Kelvin Croney set off to the wonderful city of Manchester to attend this year’s Energy Live Consultancy Conference.

This was the first full-capacity Energy Live in-person event since the Covid pandemic disruptions in 2020-21 and it made for a fantastic day; filled with insightful speakers, fascinating conversations, and outstanding hospitality.

This event was our first opportunity to present the benefits of our commercial waste services to prospective partners and we were really pleased with how we were received by the various energy and water brokers that attended.

The conference brought together over 250 TPIs (third-party intermediaries) to look at the world of utilities, what was happening in the market currently, and what the future may hold.

The TPI Market

The TPI market is an incredibly diverse sector, and it was intriguing to hear from so many about the concerns they had for the future, as well as the opportunities they saw in their industry, our waste management services being one.

When asked about the conference, Martin said that “with this being our first event in this sector, the response was truly amazing and the whole day was filled with conversations about the commercial waste market, carbon reporting, and products available for customers”.

He added that “these conversations continued well into the night, leading to an awards ceremony that celebrated the incredible work and support the TPI sector gives to customers. I’d like to congratulate the winners and all those who were shortlisted for the awards”.

We were so grateful to be invited to the Energy Live Consultancy Conference 2022 and would like to thank the organisers for putting on such a great event.

We were really pleased with how everything went and how well we were looked after. We can’t wait for next year!
